| Title | Competitive Exclusion in Infectious Disease Dynamics |
| Abstract | This talk will present a brief introduction to infectious disease dynamics from a mathematical perspective. We start with the classical SIR model. Based on this foundation, we turn to the phenomenon of competitive exclusion, where multiple pathogen strains compete for the same host population. We will also introduce some models to discuss the effect of latent periods, spatial or environmental heterogeneity. |
