Application Notice for Direct Admission to Ph.D. Program
1. 申請資格Eligibility Requirements：
經原系所助理教授以上二人推薦，且修讀本校學士學位應屆畢業生或本校碩士班修業滿一學期以上之研究生，修業期間成績優異，並具有研究潛力者。
Applicants must be recommended by two or more assistant professors (or above) from their original department, and must be one of the following:
- A current-year undergraduate student completing a Bachelor's degree at this university, or
- A graduate student enrolled in a Master's program at this university for at least one full semester.
Applicants must have demonstrated outstanding academic performance during their period of study and show research potential.
2. 繳交資料Required Documents：
請於115年6月24日（三）下午5:00前，將審查資料送至系圖薛小姐。
Please submit all review materials to Ms. Hsueh at the Department of Mathematics Library no later than 5:00 PM on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

(2)歷年成績單Complete Academic Transcripts
(3)其他有助於審查之資料（如自傳、學經歷、攻讀博士學位計畫書、專題報告等〔專題作品為多人合作者，須詳細註明合作者姓名及自己所負責部分，並請指導老師簽名，如有不實者，不予錄取〕）
Other supporting materials relevant to the review (e.g., personal statement, academic and professional background, doctoral study research proposal, project reports, etc.) For collaborative projects involving multiple contributors, applicants must clearly indicate the names of all collaborators and specify their own responsibilities. The supervising professor's signature is required. Any false information will result in disqualification.

3. 注意事項Important Notes：
(1)本系逕修讀博士115學年預計招生名額3名。
The Department plans to admit 3 students for Direct Admission to the Ph.D. Program in the 2026 Academic Year.
(2)資格不符、資料不全及逾期申請者恕不予受理。
Applications that do not meet eligibility requirements, are incomplete, or are submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
(3)核准逕修讀博士學位之學士班應屆畢業生應於當學年度取得學士學位，於就讀前未取得者，廢止其逕修讀博士學位資格。核准逕讀博士學位學生，不得申請保留入學資格。前項學生為成績優異提前一學期畢業者，得於取得學士學位之次學期入學就讀博士班。
Bachelor's degree students approved for Direct Admission to the Ph.D. Program must obtain their Bachelor's degree within the same academic year. Failure to do so before enrollment will result in revocation of the Direct Admission to the Ph.D. Program qualification. Approved students are not permitted to apply for a deferral of enrollment. Students who graduate one semester early due to outstanding academic performance may enroll in the Ph.D. Program the semester following the conferral of their Bachelor's degree.
(4)碩士班學生經本校核定准予逕修讀博士學位者，非經自請撤銷逕修讀博士學位資格，不得再參加原碩士班學位考試。
Master's program students approved by the university for Direct Admission to the Ph.D. Program may not sit for their original Master's degree examination unless they formally request withdrawal from the Direct Admission to the Ph.D. Program.
