| Title | Rationality and the Base Point Freeness Theorem |
| Abstract | Abstract Let S be a smooth projective surface with K_S being non-nef. Suppose that A is an ample divisor and r = sup{ t | A+t K_S is nef }. Rationality & base point freeness theorem (for surfaces) states that r is a rational number and L:= A+r K_S is semiample. In this talk, we will explain the idea and give a proof. |
