- Accomplished researcher with approximately 30 journal publications, specializing in statistical analysis, clinical trial design, and group testing; recipient of the 2024 Abraham Wald Prize in Sequential Analysis.
- Extensive academic career: began teaching at secondary schools and universities in 1973; served as Professor and Chair of the Departments of Mathematics and Computer Science at Le Moyne College, and Visiting Scholar at Stanford University.
- Active in professional conferences, delivering roughly 66 presentations; frequently invited to speak at international statistical conferences, serving as session chair and keynote speaker.
- Engaged in professional service: holds five professional memberships, serves as a long-term reviewer for multiple academic journals, and has been President of the American Statistical Association Syracuse Chapter for several terms.
