Registration for the 114-1 Semester English Proficiency Test is now open! The registration deadline has been extended to September 12th. This test is open to all local undergraduate students (including freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors). In addition to receiving bonus points for English module courses, you also have the opportunity to earn the Co-learning & Competence Scholarship. Spaces are limited, so please seize this opportunity to register!

A special reminder: Freshmen who participate in the English Proficiency Test can not only receive bonus points for their courses but also have the chance to earn a scholarship, which is very helpful for your studies and future development.

114-1 Semester English Proficiency Test Registration and Examination Information

• Registration Period: 2025/08/20 (Wed) ~ 2025/09/12 (Fri)
• Eligibility: All local undergraduate students at NCKU
• Registration Fee: Completely free
• Test Dates:
  • Speaking & Writing Test: 2025/10/19 (Sun), subject to the official test notification.
  • Listening & Reading Test: 2025/11/23 (Sun), subject to the official test notification.
• Test Venue: National Cheng Kung University (the exact venue is subject to the official test notification).

Related Incentives

1. Students who register for and attend all four sections (Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing) will receive 2 bonus points on their total grade for English module courses.
2. Those who achieve a B2 level or higher in Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing are eligible to apply for the Co-learning & Competence Scholarship (the regulations will be announced at the beginning of the semester).
3. For the Elite English Proficiency Test Scholarship, please refer to the official announcement.
4. All participants will receive 1 point for Co-learning & Competence activities.
