NCKU Department of Mathematics – Subject Scholarship Application (Maximum Amount: NT$10,000 per Recipient)

To encourage academic excellence among students of the Department of Mathematics, this scholarship has been established. Each recipient may be awarded up to NT$10,000.

I. Eligibility

All students of the NCKU Department of Mathematics who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance in a specific subject are eligible to apply. Applicants must have completed all credits for the semester concerned before submission.

II. Required Documents

1. Application Form: Must include the recommendation and signature of the course instructor for the subject concerned. (See attachment)
2. Transcript: Original transcripts for all academic years must be submitted.
3. Statement of Purpose: A personal statement of no more than one page (A4 size, in either Chinese or English).
4. Learning Report: A one-page (A4 size) report on the applicant’s learning experience in the subject for which the scholarship is applied.
5. Postal Passbook Cover: A scanned copy of the applicant’s postal savings account cover page.

III. Deadline

All application documents must be uploaded to the Google Form by September 19, 2025 (Friday), before 12:00 noon.
The uploaded file should be named after the applicant’s full name. Please do not submit paper copies. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Note: An interview may be conducted if necessary. The results will be announced on the Department of Mathematics website.
