| ABSTRACT | This talk will focus on how Western philosophers, scientists, and mathematicians interpreted natural sciences in terms of mathematics during ancient Greece and the European Renaissance. In particular, I will emphasize the epistemological beliefs held by renowned figures such as Plato, Aristotle, Kepler, and Galileo. |
