TITLE	Introduction on Scientific Computing and Progress in SCCS (Scientific Computing and Cardiovascular Simulation) Laboratory
ABSTRACT	This talk is aimed to give students in mathematics department a flavor of scientific computing, which is now playing one of the key role in the society of applied mathematics. Some works carried out previously in SCCS and the on-going research topics will be shared with colleagues and students, aiming to prompt some possible joint works in the near future.
