TITLE A Carleman Estimate for Strongly Elliptic Second Order Systems

ABSTRACT The aim of this talk is to present some recent results with Prof. Ching-Lung Lin (NCKU, Taiwan) and Prof. Naofumi Honda (Hokkaido Univ., Japan) on a Carleman estimate and the unique continuation properties of solutions for strongly elliptic second order system with some conditions. The results may be applied to anisotropic elastic systems.
