TITLE USING GEOMETRIC INEQUALITIES TO PROVE THE CONVERGENCE OF NONLOCAL FLOWS

ABSTRACT We survey some recent nonlocal ‡ows of convex plane curves and discuss properties of the ‡ows related to isoperimetric ratio, isoperimetric di¤erence and asymptotic convergence. We also use Andrews’s and Green-Osher’s inequalities to prove the convergence of the evolving curves to round circle. Results in this talk is a joint work with Professor Dong-Ho Tsai.
